Grades in General Education Courses

If I earn a D- in a General Education course, does it still meet the requirement?

The general education requirements are considered met with a D - (0.67) or better. However, if you are using a course for a general education requirement AND for your major or professional school, you will need a C or better. Also note that if the low grade (C- or lower) brings your cumulative grade point average below a 2.00 GPA, you are placed on academic probation and need to see an advisor before you can register for classes.
