Math Qualifying Exam
How do I interpret my results on the Math Qualifying Exam?The Math Qualifying Exam will place you into various levels
of Math courses offered at WSU. These are:
Math 0993
Math 0995, MATH 1000, or Math 1050
Math 1500, Math 1800, Math 1110, or Math 5050
Math 2010
After completing Math 0993, you may progress to MATH 1000 to
meet Math proficiency or to Math 1050 and then on to Math
1800, unless you plan to complete your degree in Business
Administration or Education.
If you plan to earn your degree in Business Administration
check with your advisor regarding the areas of concentration
in Business that require Math 1800, otherwise, complete Math
1500.
The Math courses for which Math 0995 will qualify you to
move up to are Math 1500 for a Business degree and, Math
1110 or Math 5050 for an Elementary Education degree.
