Pre-Clinical Laboratory Science Curriculum (F05)
Admission to the College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Professions:
- Completion of a minimum of 60 semester hours, including all courses identified in the table below, is required to be considered for admission to the professional program in Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Admission to the professional program in Clinical Laboratory Science is selective. Minimum Grade Point Averages of 2.50 in science and 2.50 overall are required to be considered. These averages are computed after the Winter Semester preceding admission. All preprofessional courses must be completed with no grade lower than a "C" (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable).
- Applicants may not have more than two marks of "R" (course repetition) or more than two marks of "W" in science courses. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 in the professional program to enter the clinical year.

- The professional program begins only in the fall term. With the exception of the Writing Intensive Course in the major, all preprofessional and University General Education requirements must be completed by the end of the preceding Spring/Summer Term.

- Time limitation: please refer to the 2005-2007 WSU Undergraduate Bulletin for the time limit concerning preprofessional sciences and completion of the professional program.
- Students are strongly encouraged to attend an Informational Meeting held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm at the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, 259 Mack Avenue. Call 313-577-1716 for information.

The Advising Center, located at 1600 David Adamany Undergraduate Library, is open from 8:30 - 7:00 Monday and Thursday and from 8:30 - 5:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Summer hours are Mon.--Fri. 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
